Eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty)

Blepharoplasty by Dr Guirguis

As you age, facial volume may appear to drop, resulting in a sagging and fatigued look. This is most noticeable on your face, in the eye area. Your eyelids droop, making you look tired and unhappy.

Sagging skin and tissues occurs because you’re losing blood vessels, fat layers, and collagen with the aging process. As your body succumbs to gravity and the damaging effects of your environment (ie sun exposure), your eyes lose their vibrancy.

Reverse the effects of aging for a long-lasting improvement of your eyes with an eyelid lift, also known as blepharoplasty.

You will find the scars resulting from your eyelid surgery to be virtually invisible. This is because Dr. Guirguis not only places any incisions in very discreet areas, he also applies advanced surgical techniques that allow for a clean seal that has the ability to heal in a thin, faint line. Nobody will be able to see this faint line because it will be hidden in the natural creases of your eyelids.

Upper Eyelid Lift Surgery

Incisions made during eyelid surgery of the upper lids are located along naturally existing folds. Through these incisions, excess fat, muscle, and loose skin are carefully removed. Fine, unknotted sutures are then used to close the incisions to reduce negative skin reactions.

Lower Eyelid Lift Surgery

Incisions placed during lower eyelid surgery are made in inconspicuous sites along the eyelash line of the lower lid. Through these incisions, excess fat, muscle, and skin are carefully removed. Protruding fat deposits, contributing under eye bags, are also removed. Then, the incisions are closed with fine unknotted sutures.
